Flying over Australia's secret treasure


Wilpena Pound - the magnificent vast amphitheatre, reminiscence of the rock layers formed over 800 million years, had once towered even the Himalayas.


As part of the Flinders Range, its sheer land stretches to 17-kilometre-long by 7-kilometre-wide. Uluru could fit within its walls six times.


Such a vast giant natural wonder can't be quite 'hidden' per se, but it's definitely well under the radar, even Australians have the faintest idea of where it is.

It is love at first sight.





Located in the the deserted outback in South Australia, the Flinders Ranges have maintained as a rather secretive and untouched piece of paradise.




If you love natural wonders, don't forget to add the extraordinary Flinders Ranges and its Wilpena Pound to your bucket list.


It's not the easiest to get to, but it's well-worth the drive.
