When there, don't miss out on the Parfumerie Fragonard, a perfumery and museum founded in 1926 by Eugene Fuchs, which is one of the oldest and most famous perfumeries in the region. The company is named after the French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard, and its perfumes are inspired by the scents of the Mediterranean region.
The perfumery offers a wide range of perfumes, soaps, and other fragranced products, all of which are made on-site using traditional methods. Visitors can take a tour of the perfumery and learn about the history of perfumery, the different ingredients used to make perfumes, and the process of creating perfumes.
The Parfumerie Fragonard also has a museum that showcases the history of perfumery and the art of perfumery. The museum features a collection of antique bottles, jars, and other perfumery tools, as well as a collection of paintings, prints, and engravings related to the history of perfumery.
